Those English parts in the chorus that you gave to Tiffany belong to Sooyoung. Check both live perfomances and the music video.

I have seen many lives of this song and they never sing those parts, neither Tiffany nor Sooyoung, I just personally hear Tiffany. It’s logical if you think about it. It was the beginning of SNSD, and they always gave the English parts to Jessica and Tiffany. Now it is possible that they gave it to Sooyoung, because she has improved a lot in English, but back then seems a little odd.
Regarding to the music video, I could see that they focus on Sooyoung on the Japanese video, but there are a lot of other MVs where they focus on one of the girls singing when is not her, so to me that doesn’t really proves it.
This is just what I think, but I could be wrong, so if you find a live where you can see Sooyoung singing those parts, I will change it right away. 😀
As I listen closely to the pronunciations, specifically in how “wish” is pronounced, I think it sounds more like Sooyoung. If it was Tiffany I think it’d be clearer sounding like Jessica’s parts. I could be wrong but it doesn’t hurt to contribute xD
I’m having some troubles with the live kbreak101 posted, I do see Sooyoung singing “I’m genie for your world” once, but I also saw Yuri singing “I’m Genie for your wish” a couple of times, I’m confused! I saw a couple other radio lives and Jessica never ever sings hers, and also there are sometimes where Yuri doesn’t sing and others where Sooyoung doesn’t, although it is clear that Tiffany doesn’t do them, but now I’m tempted to color coded as all… What do you guys think?
Okay so I listened to that specific part of the song a few times and I do believe 100% that it’s Jessica and Sooyoung doing the first bits of English in the chorus. The second time it sounds like Jessica and Yuri.
And Yuri (does the 3rd round) and Sooyoung (4th round) of the “I’m genie for your wish” and “I’m genie for your world”
But as for the parts Jessica had been doing, the live doesn’t show her doing it at the end so maybe that part is background vocals? Or it’s still her but they made a background section so she could do her adlibs?
